The hibiscus flower, Malaysia’s national flower, features prominently to represent Malaysia. The U-shapes surrounding the hibiscus flower traditionally depict people. The soldiers, sailors, aviators and defence officials who form our tight Malaysia - Australia Defence partnership. The journey lines connecting the different groupings reflect their contribution in the past, present and future. The coloured dots represent our sovereign territory, which we protect in service to our nations.
