๐ฌ๐ฑ๐๐ต ๐๐๐ด๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ – On the sidelines of the 36th Military Law and Operations strategic engagement (MILOPS) 2026, Vice Admiral Justin Jones, Chief of Joint Operations from the Australian Defence Force, paid a courtesy call on the Malaysian Joint Force Commander, Lt Gen Datoโ Sri Tengku Muhammad Fauzi bin Tengku Ibrahim.
The engagement reaffirmed the strong defence partnership between Australia and Malaysia and highlighted their shared commitment to enhancing regional security, interoperability, and cooperation in addressing emerging challenges across the Indo-Pacific.
Held under the theme โFrom the Seabed to Space: Advancing Security, Freedom, and Prosperity for All Across the Indo-Pacific,โ MILOPS 2026 serves as a premier platform for military leaders, legal experts, policymakers, and academics to exchange perspectives on evolving security challenges and the legal frameworks governing multilateral operations. The seminar empowers participating nations to address common challenges and explore ways to strengthen collective efforts in deterring and responding to coercion, aggression, and legal warfare.
