On the 25th of April 2025, we celebrated the strong bond between Malaysia and Australia at our annual Defence Alumni Dinner in Kuala Lumpur.
In his keynote address, Australian Chief of Army, Lieutenant General Simon Stuart, reflected on how our defence partnership was forged in the crucible of conflict in World War Two and strengthened since by generations of Defence alumni operating, exercising, training and studying together.
Dressed in our new signature alumni batik shirts and scarves, the evening was filled with warm reunions and fine conversation. It was a fantastic opportunity for alumni members to reconnect, reflect on shared experiences, and strengthen the spirit of our defence partner-ship.
Amongst the many guests, Lieutenant General Stuart thoroughly enjoyed catching up with his 1990 Royal Military College Duntroon classmate, Malaysian Army Field Commander East, Lieutenant General Datuk Mohd Sofi Md Lepi.
