Exercise SOUTHERN TIGER

Exercise SOUTHERN TIGER is an annual, non-reciprocal, sub-unit attachment from the Malaysian Army to an Australian Army unit, which works to develop interoperability between Malaysian Army and Australian Army force elements. Soldiers join to train together in the field at Cultana Traning Area, Murray Bridge Training Area and Edinburgh Defence Precinct. The two nations will conduct foundation war-fighting and combined arms training activities at platoon to company-level with blank and live-fire components.
