On the 14th of February, we honoured the courage and sacrifice of the Allied soldiers who fought in the Battle of Parit Sulong (1942) during the Malayan Campaign.
MAJ Edward Wright paid his respects on behalf of the Australian Defence Force at the Commemoration. Coming together at Dataran Parit Sulong, we reflected on our continued commitment to remembering the sacrifices of the fallen and preserving the lessons of the past.
As we remember all who served, we reaffirm our collective responsibility to ensure their sacrifices are never forgotten.
