We have two new members, Major Hamizal bin Mohd Musa and Warrant Officer Class One Mohd Khair bin Abdul Wahab.
Major Hamizal bin Mohd Musa from the Malaysian Peacekeeping Centre, seen here receiving his M-ADAA member’s coin pack with Australian Assistance Defence Adviser – Commander Douglas Griffiths RAN, will be assisting as a Directing Staff to the ADF peace Operations Course held by the ADF Peace Operations Training Centre (ADF POTC) in Canberra. The Australian Defence Force Peace Operations Course (ADF POC) is the Australian Defence Force Peace Operations Centre (ADF POTC) newly developed course format which encompasses the learning objectives of both the United Nations Military Expert on Mission (UN MEoM) and the United Nations Staff Officer Course (UN SOC). The course is delivered over a three week period (including weekends) and aims to prepare selected Australian and International personnel as UN Staff Officers or UN Military Experts on Mission.
Warrant Officer Class One Mohd Khair bin Abdul Wahab (on the left) from the Malaysian Army is attending the Joint Warrant Officer Course at the Australian Defence College, preceded by a familiarisation course at Defence International Training Centre, Laverton. The Course aims to assist in preparing Warrant Officers for employment in strategic roles by providing updates and insights on contemporary Defence issues.
