M-ADAA hosted the unveiling of the Honour Roll dedicated to those Australian Defence Force who were killed in action during the Malayan Emergency 1948-1960, Malay Peninsula 1964-1966 and the Indonesian Confrontation 1962-1966.
The plaque was unveiled by Group Captain Gretchen Fryar, Defence Adviser Australian High Commission at the Royal Ipoh Club under the gracious hospitality of Club President Dato’ Thong Fah Chong, Secretary Yvette Seaton and committee member ASP Krishnan Vassoo (Rtd) who arranged the location of the Plaque.
The original is at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra and a copy is also mounted in the Australian High Commission in Kuala Lumpur which was unveiled in 24 April 2019.
