M-ADAA’s latest member, COL Fazal bin Abdul Rahman, will be attending the Australian Administration and Familiarisation as well as Australian Defence College Preparatory Course from this November to December 2017 at the Defence International Training Centre. Thereafter, COL Fazal will attend the DSSC 2018 from January to December 2018 at the Australian Defence College in Canberra.
The DSSC is a 46-week professional development course for senior military officers and selected officers of the Australian Public Service conducted at the Australian Defence College Weston campus, Canberra, in the Australian Capital Territory.
The aim of the DSSC is to provide students with the knowledge and skills required by senior leaders and managers to operate successfully at the strategic level of a complex and modern security environment. The course focuses on the contemporary and future strategic setting and in particular the Indo-Pacific region.
The course provides the opportunity for students with an academic aptitude to undertake a Masters degree or doctoral level research.
