Law of Peace Operations Course attendee


Lieutenant Colonel Zamri bin Wahid from the Malaysian Army, who is now a new M-ADAA member, will be attending the next Law of Peace Operations (LOPO) Course conducted by the Asia Pacific Centre for Military Law at Victoria Barracks, Sydney.

The course aims to introduce officers to the legal framework for peace/stability operations, aspects of the United Nations (UN), UN Security Council resolutions and mandates and their interpretation, and challenges to peace operations in a post 9/11 world. The course will be facilitated and delivered by senior legal officers from the Australian Defence Force and faculty staff from the University of Melbourne Law School and the APCML.
