Interoperability training

A milestone for defence relations between Malaysia and Australia today.

About 150 personnel from the Malaysian Armed Forces and the Australian Defence Force conducted interoperability training with Australia’s biggest warship, HMAS Adelaide (LHD), in Port Klang.

The training involved Malaysian troops and vehicles, embarking and disembarking Adelaide for the first time.

This exercise is an investment in the future so that both countries are ready to work effectively together if, and when, we get called to help provide relief in a humanitarian disaster.
