Health Aspects of Disaster Course attendee


LTCOL (Dr) Mohd Hafizi bin Abdullah representing the 1st Medical Battalion, of the Malaysian Armed Forces is M-ADAA’s latest addition to the alumni.

LTCOL (DR) Mohd Hafizi bin Abdullah will be attending the Health Aspects of Disaster Course (HADC) which will be conducted by the University of Queensland (Herston Campus).

This five-day intensive short course aims to enhance the knowledge, concepts and practice of individuals with interest in working in disasters and complex emergencies. It will cover important thematic areas such as: types, phases and effects of disasters on health, public health and medical responses; infectious diseases and pandemic scenarios; psycho-social effects; co-ordination of donor and aid agencies; and disaster preparedness.
