H2 Hydrographic Surveying Course

Our new member, SBLT Muhammad Fitri bin Abdul Patah, is attending the H2 Hydrographic Surveying Course conducted by the Hydrographic School in HMAS Penguin, Mosman, over the period from June to November 2018, preceded by a one-week familiarisation course at the Defence International Training Centre (DITC).

The aim of the H2HS is to produce hydrographic officers, capable of collecting data in the field of rendering the results on completion in accordance with standards prescribed by the International Hydrographic Organisation (IHO) – International Federation of Surveyors (FIG) for Category B Hydrographic Surveyors.
