Here are M-ADAA’s newest members who will be attending the ADF Cross Cutting Themes – Gender and Protection (GaP) Workshop which will be conducted by the Australian Defence Force Peace Operations Training Centre (ADF POTC) in Canberra during the period 9 – 13 October 2017. The Workshop has been developed to provide a forum for key education and training staff from respective Peace Operations Training Centres and other relevant training organisations (military, government, non-government, civilian and overseas personnel), in order to examine the cross cutting themes currently challenging UN missions and multi-dimensional aspects of current operations in areas of armed conflict.
The aim of the 2017 GaP Workshop is for participants to examine the cross cutting themes; analyse current education and training practices implemented across regional training centres; identify best practice and determine areas for further development. Outcomes will incorporate at a regional level a more robust education and training regime including training centre support and cooperation through production of resources and collaborative training teams.
The new members are: MAJ Mohd Hedzri bin Omar RMAF representing the Malaysian Peacekeeping Centre and LTCDR Mohd Firdaus bin Md Taib representing the Malaysian Peacekeeping Centre.
