Command and Staff Operations Law

Here are our three new members who will be attending the Command and Staff Operations Law (CSOL) course.

The three officers will be attending the Command and Staff Operations Law (CSOL) course conducted by the Asia Pacific Centre of Military Law (APCML) at Victoria Barracks, Sydney.

The principal objective of the CSOL course is to raise the awareness of commanders and their staff about key operations law issues that affect contemporary military operations. The course will familiarise participants with the law applicable to the conduct of a wide spectrum of military operations, including during armed conflict as well as in times of peace.

The course is also designed to promote engagement and interaction between military personnel from across the Asia Pacific region and to build greater understanding and commonality in the application of international law to military operations.
